Read our FAQ's to Learn More
bespoken fellows (as individuals or ensembles) receive monthly mentoring sessions (one hour each) for the duration of the program. In addition to these sessions, individuals and ensembles are able to participate in group workshops with established and emerging women leaders in the arts where they will learn skills, share ideas, and ask questions regarding the music industry. These workshops are designed to bring together a community of women in the arts who foster creativity and confidence in their day-to-day lives.
Each plan includes bio, resume, and website oversight, as well as creative project and brand development. Each participant will learn the basics of marketing, PR, and management, while exploring new modes of creative expression.

Testimonials
"I was fortunate to work with Gina Izzo and Eunbi Kim through Chamber Music America’s National Conference NextGen program for emerging professionals (25 & under) over the past few years. I was truly impressed with the exceptional leadership and industry expertise they offer emerging musicians. Gina and Eunbi are truly dedicated to helping emerging artists advance their music careers and I am so thrilled to see that they have launched "bespoken." I hope that many musicians will take the opportunity to participate!"
Jane Cho, Director of Administration, Aaron Copland School of Music, Queens College,
City University of New York
"Gina and Eunbi have considerable knowledge on the topic of arts entrepreneurship.
Their experiences in the field and genuine energy on the topic created an amazing experience for our students AND faculty. They presented many thought provoking concepts and got our students very excited about the kinds of projects that they could potentially embark upon. They also led a brainstorming segment where students listed their interests, skills, and talents and then came up with possible projects that synergized all three. Gina’s and Eunbi’s enthusiasm and knowledge really got our students to think in different ways and express themselves in ways that we are typically not seeing in the course of our regular music curriculum. I am already seeing a different sense of energy and purpose in our hallways."
Derek Ganong, Assistant Director pf Applied Trumpet, Director of Jazz, Boise State University
"bespoken has been very helpful because Eunbi and Gina provided me a lot of advice and thoughts and answer a lot of my confusion and questions. Because of them, I have come up with a clearer plan and clearer goals for my career and I have more specific things that I know I have to do. I really recommend this program."
Wen-Ting Wu, drummer and bespoken Fellow
"Eunbi and Gina help women consider the professional aspects of what it means to have a career. They help you create a plan, they talk to you about your goals, five-year planning, and create an outline as to why all of this is important and what you need to do to establish yourself in your career."
Linda Collazo, mezzo-soprano and bespoken Fellow
"Flutist Gina Izzo and pianist Eunbi Kim have garnered success both in their performance careers and in arts administration roles. Their paths converged in 2016, and their common interests have led them to form bespoken, a mentoring organization which provides career development guidance to musicians, composers, and/or administrators, who are female, trans*, or gender non-conforming. We caught up with Gina and Eunbi recently to learn more about their plans and aspirations for bespoken." -I Care If You Listen (Full Interview)
